About Joan Goodwin
Joan Goodwin, an experienced interior designer, brings to the table a combination of bold, chic, urban pizzazz, with an international flair. She develops eclectic design concepts that enhance living and working environments. Joan specializes in creating a décor that redefines conventional standards with innovation and sophistication. She has over 18 years of intrinsic experience, and has operated her own interior design business known as Verandah Interiors, located in Columbia, South Carolina. Her expressive approach to design exudes confidence.
Joan was a designer in the Parade of Homes 2000 and the Parade of Homes 2006, that home was also featured in Designer Dream Home Magazine April 2007 and the State Newspaper, Joan also won best interior design in the Parade of Homes, 2008, as well as the presitious Pennical Award. The Tour of Homes designer 2005, and, set designer for ETV Connections 2003. She was lead designer of City Dreams 2002, and designed a fresh fun filled boy's room in the 2008 Dream Home as well as a posh, glamous, mastersuite in the 2010 Dream Home. Joan has completed model home projects for Edgewood Place and Celia Saxon, and Cobblestone Park.
